i have a 86 442 that i a, painting similar to factory with the burgundy and silver 2 tone and the gold stripes. when i got the car the interior was stripped besides the gray dash but i did get all of the gray mouldings besides the door panels, the original seats had water damage and were pretty well screwed, i now have a set of gray buckets that are not in great shape but are usable, i also have a set of 87? burgundy seats that are in pretty decent driver condition and i just hit a good score on some burgundy new carpet that was so cheap i couldnt pass it up even if its to resell. what i am thinking is 2 toneing my interior so that the seats, carpet and upper door panels... are burgundy and all of the plastic pieces including the plastic seat backs are gray. i am thinking it would look pretty cool, i know cadillac use to do 2 tone white and whatever other color and it looked sweet and since burgundy and gray match well and match the colors of the paint it might just look pretty damn cool. just wanted some input, i am gonna set it all in there as soon as the carpet gets here before making the final decision. bad news is i do not have a back seat for other set so i am gonna have to track one down to match whatever set i chose to do, would also like to get the upper door panels for the burgundy if thats the way i go. keep in mind this car was stripped of the interior and motor when i got it so it will never be a stock car again even though i am shooting for a somewhat stock apperance
