lets just say i buy my gauges and my sound system.... and i want to have my car interior completely done by a professional... how much would you say it would cost to have my interior and trunk completely ripped out have three holes in the floor patched up and and have everything completly changed from claret to black... i would also need my dash customized and maybe even replaced and a center console created... i was told by a friend that to have a car reahpolsterd was anywhere from 600-1500 depending on material... i would expect a little more considering i want some custom things done and some repairs fixed... any guesses?

yea it would be more then 600-1500, i cant really tell you a price cause everywhere is different. material will make it more exspensive depending what u do with and how much you end up doing and where you live. but i would say 2000 or more or less. maybe someone might be able to tell you more. i dont know how much skills you have but if you done it your self it would be cheaper and it does fill good to do your own stuff to your car

Check you area . Everywhere is different . Here just the seats redo would be $600 but when I lived in CAL I could have got whole interior and door panels .

But for what you want the $1000 ++ sound good .

My floor repairs just need to be made so there wont Be any issues with them rusting or leakin or something of that nature... Im basically gonna have everything stock just have everything black vs claret. Ill need a centerconsole customized as well as a custom guage cluster with auometer carbon fiber gauges... Other than that everythings just reapholstery and repairs... Oh and im buying my own seats that wont need to be worked on

Depends on how bad the holes are, how much custom work you want and what kind of materials you want the interior upholstered in. Plus, you can't just fix the floor, you have to fix the water leaks ( there will be many of them because of the age of the car) that caused them. This took me about a week when I did my car. All I can say is that it will be more expensive than you think.

Here in New Jersey, Monmouth County, I spoke to a body shop owner about this . . . he said he wouldn't even touch a car like that--It wouldn't be worth his time. He said him and other body shops usually don't touch cars that old if they aren't classic and have rust issues--granted, this is a high end shop in a nicer area that has a lot a Mercedes, BMW's, Ricer-cars with body kits, and one or two muscle cars in the shop right now. The crappiest car I see there is a Nissan.

I think your best bet is to fix the floor yourself or get someone to help. A body shop will charge you a fortune for that.

The estimates above are good, but when you talk custom dash and consoles, plus gauge and stereo install I would say around closer to 4000. My advice is this. pull all the plastics and dash and spray them with vinyl dye. Buy a carpet kit for 100 bucks, install that your self, reupolster the door panels yourself, build a wood console your self, or research to build a fiberglass one. have someone fix the holes and hook up the componets.
