Hello All;

I have a '85 Buick Regal w/a 3.8L carbed engine (no turbo) powering a 200c transmission.
I'm looking to replace the transmission cooling lines but even sites like Inlinetube and classictube don't sell anything exactly for my application.

Does ne1 know of a set of lines currently available that will work for me. I do not want to use copper for the record. This seems what every shop and his brother does when they can't order the correct part.

Thanks
Greg

Do you need/want factory lines? If you're just replacing them, go to the auto parts store and get some brake line sections and build your own. It's pretty easy to bend and you can get it in several different lengths for about 5.99 a section.

Thanks guys for answering my post. While I had a FSM for my year I got ahold of one for 1987.
Seems there was a Regal w/a 307 5.0L V8 Engine that according to the manual the trans cooler lines "route similar" to my engine and trans.

Fitting on the ends of the pipes are the same size for either application.

Inline tube does have these in stock listed on FleaBay so I think I'll order them, it might be my best shot.
I'll get them in plain steel instead of my preferred Stainless so it'll be easier to make and "tweaks" required.

Car will go to the shop next week for a rebuild on the trans, will post up how things go with this.

Again thanks for helping.

For the most part, transmission lines for a TH350 will fit/work. Any set you buy will require some minor tweaking on the ends, in most cases the radiator side (V6 & V8 have different width radiators) no big deal at all. I have bought several sets, the last came from Jeg's, they were $38-40, steel, not stainless, and I had to become a contortionist to install them in my already assembled Malibu with a 454-TH350.

Its WAY worth the $40 over buying some "Bundi-flex" tubing and trying to do it yourself.
