i have a 86 olds with a 307. What id like to do is change out the carb and intake.

Will any aftermarket oldsmobile 350 intake manifold work on my setup. i tried to do some research couldnt find anything. A friend has one on the cheap side, like to get this motor running a little better.

thanks for any help

I am pretty sure the intake will bolt up, but the ports will not match right. To get an aftermarket carb you will have to disable anything computer related on the car. You are better off getting a whole nother engine if you are trying to get power out of the 307.

I agree. Olds squeezed everything they could out of that package with the HO version which wasn't much better than the std. 307. I'd honestly put my $$ towards an Olds 350 since it's a direct swap.

While you're at it pick up a TH200-4R or TH350 and rebuild it to work with the non-ECM set-up. When it's ready, swap it out all at once and call it a day.
