setup looks nice! i thought the alternator mounts on the opposite side on sbo's? or is it different for the 403s

They had both. The cars that did not have a/c came with a passenger side alternator.

Very nice looking engine!! Does it run yet?

That's not even a factory bracket. And all SBOs and BBOs mounted the alternator on either side, depending on whether the car had A/C or not. The F-body brackets are different from all other Olds accessory brackets.

Nice looking engine, what pulleys? Hopefully not underdrive, you will have cooling issues. I have a 2 core 2 1/4" thick aluminum rad with the Dodge Stratus fans and a flowkooler water pump, still runs hotter than it should. They are getting pulled.

Um 10ish - 1 compression? Maybe 400HP 400+TQ? Do tell. Very appropriate for an 86 442 Kudos.

Put me on the list of jealous people!! Looks great!!

Are you going with headers if so which ones? I'll be needing some for a similar swap and trying to find out which works best. Cant wait to hear about how it performs! 8)
