also, the car has such low gears..for some reason it will not even do a breakstand?i try and try and it just wont. just revs high.
should be a v8 3spd car is it not? if not more than likely you got a sweet 2.14 rear and the greatness that it beholds. ive got an original v6 car so i got the 2.41 rear and i can breakstand all day long if i wish

it was the 305 v8 with the 3spd transmission but it has 355 sbc in it now and i was neevr told if the transmission was swapped to a turbo 350 or stock, i was told it had a shift kit put in whatever it is tho, and i was told the rear end had the gears changed to i forget what number but there not posi and its supposed to be great with fuel econmoy?lol no clue but it wont even spin them
maybe that is what happens when you put a chevy in an olds :lol: 
i hope that 355 is real tired if it wont break them loose, maybe it needs a tuneup or to be tuned?

your probably right about tuneup and such,
its a reeally mild 355, stock intake/rochester carb, heads,ect all that the only thing really performace is the gear drive.
i sure hope it isent tired, and just needs some upgrades lol.
i still hauls *ss in the long runs just wont spin the tire haha..
just did a oil change, seemed to pep her up slightly , was some dirty *ss oil in there. :shock:

mild must be an understatement. I can brake-torque with my 200,000 plus mile stock 260 with factory highway gears. It's so lame it struggles keeping up at 75 mph on the highway.
* forgot to mention because I am sure it will be asked 235/60/14s with plenty of tread
