New 86 grand prix owner with a question

hey guys i recently bought my 86 (also my first car) knowing that it needed a new passenger side front fender. My shop teacher says the fender from a 79 LJ will fit which is convienient because theres one in the area. Anyone know if it will fit for sure?

absolutely not. The body changed in '81. any GP from '81-'87 will work, but nothing else.
