Hello, GBody. New from Atl. Long time lurker...
Well to start. I have a 1979 cutlass (classified as a 1980 because of front clip). I am currently getting the engine rebuilt(original olds 350 from a 70's Delta 88). Im new to all this. For some reason this year, after about 5/6yrs, ive become serious about getting this car together...it was running perfect but i just wanted to prolong the life of my baby and decided to get it rebuilt..
Edel 7111 intake(thanks for input limey)
Carb? on the fence between a Summit(based on the old holley 4010 design) 600 cfm or a Edel 1406 carb.
basically a stock rebuild .30 bored.(decided this because the engines being taken apart anyway, right?)
Running true duals, flows...no headers yet.
350 tranns rebuilt about a month ago.
just a weekend car...
before:
so i got the engine removed this past weekend and i was wondering what was the best way to clean the engine bay? I was told to spray the whole bay with purple power and pressure wash.. any other tips?
