Recently I purchased a replacement carpet set from ACC for my El Camino and have been trying to get it installed. Having some problems in getting it to lay down right, especially in the footwell areas behind the seats. Anybody got any ideas that might help mould this to lay down better. There's mutiple curves in this area. I've gotten it to fit fairly well else where. One of the problems was the carpet was extra wide and long after I finally got it cut to fit closer things did improve but still having problems behind the seats.

did you let the carpet sit for awhile before you installed it,i had the same prob with mine for my cutlass. i removed it and let it sit for a few days in my garage. then istalled or set it in the car and waited a couple days for it to mold to my floor. it fits good now and i as well had to trim it to fit right.

I just let my fat dogs lay on it for awhile it get it to flatten out .

I hope you have better luck with your ACC carpet than I did.

I bought a set of ACC floor mats for my Corvette. Within 3 weeks, I noticed a divot and a big fuzz ball where my right heel sits. Holy sh**! All of the fibers were gone. I sent them both back and received another pair. You guessed it--the same thing started to happen. So, I sent them back and asked for my money back. I avoid ACC and only buy Lloyd's now.
