I'm Mike from CT, I have an 86' El Camino 305, 2004r with shift kit, and a drum to drum posi from a monte ss. I consider that my "hotrod" and an 87' Cutlass Supreme that I daily to school. I bought the El Camino as my first car when I turned 17, and drove it throughout high school. I no longer daily the El Camino, due to the fact on my way to school one monday morning, exactly 1 week after a posi 3.73 swap, it got hit by a cherrypicker. The whole passengers side was destroyed, the doors and fender replaced. Since more than 75% of the car need a repaint, and I wasn't paying for that (other party was at fault), I shelled out some cash I had been saving and had the whole thing repainted. I fixed some floor pan rust it had, new carpet, gauge package, all the good stuff. It now resides in the garage with classic plates and is a weekend driver when I come home from college. I have always loved g body cars, (most people don't seem to get that) and I wanted another one. I picked up the 87' Cutlass, it has 54k original miles, 1 owner, mint interior, no rust, and sun faded paint. With the 307, 200 metric, along with 2.14 rear gears, I got a best of 25 highway on my way back to college. Currently working on putting a 442 exhaust on that I bought secondhand new for really cheap.

Currently saving up for a nice crate motor for the elky, gonna just put some raised white letters on the cutlass, and the 442 exhaust, maybe a rear upgrade. Here's some pics, the cutlass one I saved from the PO's add.

Welcome! Great looking rides there. In ct myself.
There's a surprising amount of g body owners popping up in CT recently. There needs to be a g body meet or something.

EVEN THO, IT'S BEEN ALMOST A MONTH, FROM ANOTHER CT RESIDENT....WELCOME TO THE SITE!!!
