Hello. Been lurking for a while.
I am from Maryland, was a mechanic for a long time until I got into other ways to make a buck (now have an office/outside sales job with an oil company).
Have always loved Cutlasses. My daughter had an 85 Supreme that she drove into the ground, and my son (Tristan), who is 19, has an '86 Supreme Brougham that we are working on together. That is why I decided to register here today finally, because we have run into some possible minor obstacles with his engine swap.
His car had the 307Y 4bbl and it gave up the ghost a few months ago. In that time, we located a running 403 and are in the process of doing his swap.
My son works full time landscaping and is paying for everything out of his own pocket (his choice), and learning the inner workings of the automobile from me. I am proud of him.
Hoping that the collective knowledge here can make it smoother and look forward to possibly contributing something good here.
