Am an owner of a '79 Monte, given to me back in '92 as my first car, and subsequently taught me everything I know about cars. Its been through 4 engines and was taken apart back in '07. Been working on it slowly with the intent of being a fast sleeper, but lost some interest with a growing family...3 kids tend to remove the desire to run single digits in the quarter.
Car is only really in need of finishing the dash, engine and trans. Its gotten full suspension work, a Moser 12 bolt, new fuel system, rewired all electrical, roll bar, and lots of other goodies.
My daily is a moderately modded GTO (you know the fake new ones), and is also partially to blame for the lost interest.
Hoping to rekindle the build and get her running down the road...slightly slower than the previously intended quarter times...
