Just saying hello from Minnesota.

A few years ago I bought a '79 Monte Carlo. Since then I've added a few bells and whistles but nothing serious due to a lack of funds (I was a poor college student when I bought it).

Anyway, apparently it has a lot of rare options including t-tops, a passenger side kick panel trash can, some ugly green interior/two tone exterior, etc. I was lucky enough to get the biggest motor GM could possibly manage to fit into the large engine bay, the good ol' power packin' 305 smog motor...

So yeah, ya'betchya

These pictures were taken about 2 hours after I bought the car









I bought some '83 Monte SS rims (15x7) off a buddy of mine. I had them sandblasted and power coated. (Anyone from MN needs a recommendation on sandblasting/powder coating let me know!)

I masked off the each rim and painted the black accents myself.

I haven't been able to find more current pictures of the car (AKA I'm to tired/lazy to look any further) so one of these days before Minnesota turns into an arctic tundra I'll try to take her out and snap a few pictures.
