Hello, everyone. my name is tyler. im from Nebraska and have owned 2 gbodys. the first was a 80 regal. second was a 84 regal. I ended up selling both one was a drag car(due to no title) the 84 was street car. a wonderful turn of event came about and I ended up with my 80 back. my ol lady bought it back from the guy and it now has a title. at the time I bought it I was goin into the army, and had the car painted accordingly. and name the car "the general" hense my user name. I currently am in the process of building the car back up due to it being stripped down by the guy I bought it back from. I have a 500hp 486ft lb 383 engine ford 9 in with 456 gears full spool. working on getting wheels and tires. will pst some photos of the build soon.

yes I did. The 80 was the first ever project I had. me and my ol man built a 355 and 350 turbo with a 9 in and it ran pretty decent. pulled the fronts up and the strip with the old worn out suspension it currently has moroso trick springs drag shocks all the way around and tubular control arms up top and boxed lowers in the rear. should hook a lot better than it did and ill be able to have it on the street! 😀
Welcome to the forum from a fellow Nebraskan. That is an awesome story about buying your old car back. I have often imagined rePurchasing my first car for a restoration.... a two tone blue 85 Monte Carlo. Unfortunately I sold it 14 years ago & I doubt that it's still alive. Sounds like you have some high performance plans in mind... Good luck & keep us posted
YES I do have high performance goals. the car will be mainly a strip car but still streetable. how streetable the car will be with the combo I have im not sure. should be interesting. im in the process of trying to get pictures of the cars before I sold them and now that I have the 80 back what it looks iike now.
