I just recently bought a 1983 Cutlass as my daily driver. It's got a Chevy 350 in it, with a 350 turbo trans, a deamon carb, long tube headers, All MSD, B&M slap shift kit, 373 posi rear, true dual exhaust, traction bars, grant steering wheel, and 14'' cragars. It runs pretty smooth, and shifts real hard, as much to chirp the tires when you really get on it. The interior needs work, and the car was repainted but will need it again pretty soon. Most of the gauges are shot. the front seats are in bad shape, weather stripping needs to be replaced, and maybe a new dash eventually. I used to have an 88 cutlass cierra which was a real piece of crap, but my last car was a 99 crown victoria, so its a little different driving this right now. I know about cars and engines, and i can usually figure things out, but im no expert, especially when it comes to carburated engines. id like to learn more and more while working on this car. If anyone could help me with any of the issues i mentioned please let me know. im also looking for some wheel and tire ideas, and to work with the exterior a little. heres some pictures, let me know what you think. thanks.
