Hey guys, new to the site. Have owned an 83 Regal Wagon for about 3 years now. Transplanted a Buick 455 10:1 motor and a corp 8.5 rear end from a GN. Quite the ride, complete with A/C and and cruise! I just grafted a 2Dr Regal onto the front and have it stripped down for paint here in a couple weeks. Will be scrounging for a coupel parts etc here shortly, but been working on old Buicks for about 20 years now. Anyhow, Hi! Its an old pic, but this is the car after I resprayed it. Going Orange with all black out.

Hi Jon!
Welcome aboard neighbor! Niiice wagon...I love the color. I'll bet it motors down the road with the 455. It's always good to see more wagon guys coming aboard.
Oops! I just realized that your car is no longer that color and is going thru a transformation.
Any good junque yards down in Ocala? There's a U-Pull-It here, but no old car for quite some time. You may see the occasional older iron, but it's either roached out to the max or totally picked thru.

Well, keep us up to date on your progress. I'm sure it will be awesome with it's new coat..

Thanks, it is an obsession cured with money.... Its mew color is Orange with all blacked out trim and some contrast paint. Stripping the jams this weekend and putting it in epoxy primer. Then comes the bodywork. 160K miles and almost no rust.... Its a Northern car too.... The yards down here blow! Thank goodness for forums and ebay!

Thanks, Jon

 ..you throw enough money at anything it will certainly cure it's shortcomings . Ironically, my car was also a northern car.
I bought it when I was still living in NY...and that's 25 or so years ago. It's since spent most of it's life down here.
As far as rust, it's had some areas here and there. I've been trying to keep after any rust that develops.
Your wagon sounds like it will be cool in orange with the blacked out trim.

I think there's some yards down in the Orlando area. a guy over at one of the other forums had mentioned one of the yards. He posted some pics, but never disclosed where this particular yard was. One picture showed a Malibu wagon, but he said it was no longer there.
Keep us updated. we enjoy seeing progress...it helps give us some ambition and initiative. 🙂

BTW, what trans are you running behind the 455?

Welcome aboard!
Luv that Regal wagon.
