Hi, name's Clint, long time G body fan, first time owner. Just purchased an 85' Monte Carlo SS on Monday. It's been sitting for 2-3 years now so it's not in the greatest condition, but that all will soon change for the better. Got it as a gift from my wife for our 5th anniversary next month :-D...she's a keeper to say the least, lol. My plan is to restore the car to it's former glory, and then some. Breath new life back into it and enjoy the heck out of it. Unfortunately the car is going to have to sit until spring or later. I've got a 55 Chevy in my shop now that I'll be finishing the bodywork and paint on within the next couple months (won't be able to post pics or details until after the unveil, per owners request). After I'm done with the 55' I'll be pulling my wife's Tahoe in the shop and doing a full repaint, installing a lift, and new wheels (her annv. gift).
A little more about myself, I'm 28 and an automotive painter by trade. Been painting a little over 10 years, and am a 3rd generation bodyman/painter. my screen name originated as White Stealth, and was a name a former helper gave my old 03' GMC Sierra. I just shortened it when I bought my current truck, an 03' Chevy 2500HD. Besides, the SS, I also have a 91' Silverado that is a frame off restoration project, and a 01' S10 bodydropped and on air.
