New from Pittsburgh

Hi I'm Mike from Allison Park, PA north of Pittsburgh.

Started this build back in May....Making progress, but it's taking longer and costing more than I originally planned for...(what a surprise huh?)

Nice clean '87 Monte Carlo LS when I first acquired it:

First up was front suspension/brakes:

Then got stock tank sumped, built fuel system, installed new Strange 9" and rear suspension:

Built new 408 LS motor:

Yanked out old junk:

Back in the garage:

Cleaned up engine compartment a lil'

Installed some new gauges:

Got new motor in:

All I have to do now is get it running....lol

Still a lot to do, maybe by late September.... 😀

Welcome. I love how the intake runners line up with the header primaries. Looks good.

Thanks guys, yeah it's gonna be more of a racecar themed ride but totally driven on the street....

Hoping for about 600HP out of the motor which should put me low 11's maybe even a 10.9, then planning on adding some spray next summer for some real fun.

Would really love to see a 9 second slip some day.....
