Hello, my name is Kyle I am 17 and I love vehicles. I am thinking of buying my older brother's 1984 Pontiac Grand Prix with the 305 auto. it has T-tops and the body is in decent shape apart from some surface rust and a few dings. My brother had bought this off of the original owners, an old couple, and had only driven it home where it sat in his garage. He was 22 and his girlfriend broke up with him, she was very manipulative, and said the baby, she claimed she was pregnant, wasn't his and she had cheated on him, the next day he went into his car and sat in it with the car running closed in the garage and took his own life. My aunty had bought it and has been driving it until now. I have the option to buy it for $500. The transmission is leaking and the weather stripping needs to be replaced, my brother was my best friend and I would like to do a tribute to him. It will probably be my daily driver to. Just get me to work and drive around to hang out with friends. The car sounds really good when it is running. I have owned 5 vehicles already, I am trying to find something moddable and fun. I hope this will end my search. Thanks, Kyle.

KyleCook,
Welcome to the site! Sad to hear about your brother, but proud to hear you'd like to build a tribute to your brother. Good luck to you and you build!

Thanks. I am thinking of keeping the 305 in for quite a while. Eventually i will probably build up a 350, he really liked this car and was very proud of it. To bad he didnt stick around long enough to plate it and drive it around.
