New from Wisconsin

Hello everyone! I would say I'm new to the G-body, but then, a 78 Cutlass Calais with t-tops was my first car back in the 80's. So I'm new, but not so new. It was fully optioned out sans the paint stickers and the 350 that would have made it a Hurst. It's always been in the back of my mind to get back to owning a 79 Hurst since those days. I thought owning a Shelby GT500 would curb my cravings but that car though satisfyingly fast and fun, didn't quite give me that smile I was looking for. last year I sold the car and am now on the hunt for a 79 Hurst and to my surprise, I think I've found one.
So I thought I'd better take advantage of new tech and study up on the car once again, and use the forums here to research how available the various parts for these cars are. I look forward to hearing from the experts here and sharing info and knowledge with the community!

Mind you. A deal hasn't been made or anything. At this point we are just going over the issues the car has. He's been very fourth right and has sent a ton of pics. Guess we'll see what happens.

Welcome fellow Wisco! Checking in from Pleasant Praire with a leaking power steering pump on the 85 Cutlass Supreme. Ugh.
