Hello everyone! I would say I'm new to the G-body, but then, a 78 Cutlass Calais with t-tops was my first car back in the 80's. So I'm new, but not so new. It was fully optioned out sans the paint stickers and the 350 that would have made it a Hurst. It's always been in the back of my mind to get back to owning a 79 Hurst since those days. I thought owning a Shelby GT500 would curb my cravings but that car though satisfyingly fast and fun, didn't quite give me that smile I was looking for. last year I sold the car and am now on the hunt for a 79 Hurst and to my surprise, I think I've found one.
So I thought I'd better take advantage of new tech and study up on the car once again, and use the forums here to research how available the various parts for these cars are. I look forward to hearing from the experts here and sharing info and knowledge with the community!

Welcome to the site. Where about in Wisconsin are you? I'm in Fond du Lac. You came to the right spot for research and learning about these cars. There are a lot of very knowledgeable people here. Goodluck with the reasearch and car hunt. If you get a car make sure to post pictures.

Hello fellow Wisconsinite! I'm located in St. Croix Falls on the border...

Welcome TMat142; Good to see another Wisconsinite. Are you considering attending the Car Craft Nat's? If all goes as planed I'll be their Friday & Saturday. Look for me on at the Auto X event on Friday, and Saturday I hope to attend the mid night drags. You'll find more information on this forum than one brain can absorb. Take care Bob Jr.

Welcome fellow Wisco! Checking in from Pleasant Praire with a leaking power steering pump on the 85 Cutlass Supreme. Ugh.
