I found this on craigslist last thursday for $400. They were gettin ready to crush it cause the lot was overfull! :shock: It has a fresh 350/th350 w/3.08's. I just need to bolt on intake & valve covers n turn da key. Eventually it will have an LS1/6spd, 9"w/3.73's, 17" Torque Thrusts, tubular suspension & burnt orange paint. I would like to convert to T-Tops if I can find the frame & glass. 😀

thats also where i found my 71k mile 81 cutlass for $700. i use to never check craigslist, now i check it a couple times a day! :lol:

Nice score! On CL some guy was asking $7000 for his 78 Monte and now he's down to $2800 OBO... I'm afraid to look at it, cause the pics look nice! Last thing I need is another one.

I'm thinkin it would look good in Ice Blue, 2" cowl hood, similar wheels as yours & a low stance. We'll see what I can get my hands on for power. Either an LT1 or LS1. I'm so glad I kept my buckets & console out of my last 79'. They're lt blue just like this one, but vinyl & this car has cloth. No biggie, cause my buckets need re-upolstered anyways. It's got tilt strg & a/c & thats all the options I need.
