So I joined this forum after picking up my t top aerocoupe a few weeks back. It had been sitting for 8-10 years in a garage and needed a good cleaning and going over. It has just about no rust. I got it for a steal (under a 1000)

Has anyone ever saw a 160mph/240kph speedometer... this car has one that looks factory.

In the last few weeks I have through the fuel/brake system, new t top/door/window sweep gaskets, got both windows working, redid the dash cluster with leds and got every factory gauge to work, got the ac working again, replaced the tcc solenoid, boxed the rear trailing arms and new poly bushings, new 245 60 rear, new 235 60 front cooper cobra, stripped clear coat off wheels re polished lips and new paint, new lug nuts, redid the headliner in new material and quite a a lot of small things. Still have a list of things I want to get done

Car came with long tube headers 2.25 true dual with glass packs. 373 posi rear. factory 305 with 85,000 that doesn't smoke knock or use a drop of oil.

I bought it because I own quite a few other cars including few cudas, duster, few amx's, built sti. All of them are 4/5/6 speed cars.. big cams, high compression etc etc. Recently had back issue and if I get stuck in traffic I'm done for. This monte carlo with auto and working ac is one of the best cars ever bought.
