Here we go, completely new to this Gbody stuff, just scooped this 1984 Regal off my step son, was going to let it go to scrap for $300 and i couldn't allow it to happen. car runs great, original 6 cyl. needs body work but overall SOLID car. only needs exhaust for inspection, not the prettiest thing but i have some visions of granduer after looking through some of your pics in here. very clean interior/ not much rust; best of all runs and drives w/ 70,000 original on odometer; also have spare 3.8 motor with 65,000 from brother in laws swap in a monte.

1st question, will monte carlo body work bolt onto the regal? mainly looking @ front end parts; fenders/hood/nose/bumper

i know, new guy already asking bunch of questions, but gotta reach out for help... i am not new to the project/ custom car realm. have a 66 chevy truck and of course a couple harleys. have had a bunch of other vehicles over the years too.

future plans for the buick include all cosmetics for NOW/ want to make it look good, then going to worry about performance after that.

i appreciate and welcome ANY and ALL feedback.

Thanks, Wagz

Cool, man. Welcome.
She's definitely a fixer-upper, but for 300 bucks I'd say its not bad 🙂
One thing... seems you're missing the rear bumper fillers... that can be a sign that your rear body mounts are rusted out. Not a car killer, but it can be a PITA to fix, I'm dealing with that myself.
As for the panels, as far as I know the panels between any Monte and regal are incompatible.. different body lines and such. Sure, they will bolt up, but it will look like a$$.
Good luck with whatever work you have planned, and keep us posted!
