Hi all. I'm Joe, I've had my 78 Grand Am since I was 17, 20 years now. I also built up a 79 Grand Am with my dad over the last 16 years he's had it. Today I finally gave up on mine after it sat and rusted too far for my abilities to restore. Dad gave me his Grand Am, which is in excellent shape with new paint, and I stripped all my good salvagable parts as spares for his car.

We've raced the two cars for many years on a very low budget setup, and had tons of fun using mostly stock parts. With the 400 engine using 67 GTO heads, 3:73 Grand National Rear, many cam experiments, 650 and 750 cfm holley's, edelbrock performer intake, and a 400 transmission we ran consistent mid 12's. Now the car has a Super T-10 4 speed, but no more drag racing.

So here I am, lots of experience with the car, have had most every part of it apart myself. See you around the forums...
