Hello Everyone,
My name is Jim and I am new to the forum, My wife and I just bought our latest G-Body,
1983 Hurst Olds Cutlass. It has 62,000 miles on it. In very good shape, it has almost every option you
could get. It runs good, just alittle rust on the inside of the door. First thing I did was to take the old
person body side molding. This is my 7th g-body. My first was a 79 cutlass supreme in high school, next I
had a 84 Monte CL, traded it for a 84 Monte Carlo SS- Blue, we had a 84 Monte, and then 82 regal and a
86 Regal. And now I have the 83 Hurst Olds. I had wanted one in 1983, but I was Junior in High School and
I was making 3.35/hr. I could not afford one. So I can mark that off the bucket list now. Planning to fully restore
this one, like I did my 84 SS. I was on MonteCarloSS.com for many years. This forum looks like a great source of
information! Glad to be here.
Thanks,
Jim
