Welcome Steve,
Sweet ride there, is that fresh paint? Looks real close to the factory color. I bet that thing is quicker than a telephone call with the 4.10s in it. Good luck with the resto, you have a good start on it.

Thank you, yes it is fresh paint. Its a Volvo cooper. My original color was a light brown so the color is different but still looks kinda factory. Exactly what I wanted.

Hi Steve,
Welcome aboard! Great looking wagon. I dig the color.
So you're from the Bronx? I'm a former Brooklynite and Bonnewagon (Mark) is from Queens. Where do you store the car, may I ask? I used to have to park mine out on the street...no fun. Parking is at a premium up there. I got so tired of competing for parking spots, I decided to leave the rat race behind. ...and I don't look back.

Hey, I leave it in a private garage not far from me. Its nice to have fellow new yorkers around who know our resources and things around. Parking in the city is just like finding a clean train station in the city. Lol.

Good to hear that you rent a garage. That's the only way you'll keep anything nice in the Big Apple. People are so inconsiderate.
Plus it's so overcrowded.

I like your quote. "Finding parking in the city is like finding a clean train station". We all know that clean train stations up there are non-existent. I spend many years riding the D-train, RR, Q, etc. Can't say I miss it.

Thanks guys. Lol. Yea I spend plenty of time on the 2 and 5 lines although I rather be driving my wagon
