Hello everyone! I'm from western PA, and after messing with numerous F-bodies and GTOs and even a turbo 5.3 LS Mustang GT, I'm excited to be getting into another G-body. This is a little premature, as I actually don't have it yet... but the deposit was made. My plans are to make the car into a Pro Tour/G-machine type of vehicle. I've done plenty of homework on doing a GT45 turboed 4.8/5.3/6.0 LS engine swap into a G. Hope it gets there eventually.
I had a 1980 Malibu about 10 years ago and loved it! I ended up selling it to a buddy cause he really wanted it. I then bought the engine out of it after money got tight on his end.. he ended up selling the roller and it rotted away over the years cause the guy said he was gonna restore it and never did, and would not sell it!
This Saturday I plan to obtain my swap candidate. 1978 Malibu: 400/TH350
