I'm new to the site and always curious to see what creative ideas people have for their rides. I'm in central Florida and have a '78 Malibu. I'd say that I love her because she's loud and fairly unique. Under the hood is a 350 sb bored over 30 with a cam, roller rockers, Holley 600 carb, Flowmaster exhaust, and a few other things I'm sure to have left out.

I'm replacing and painting some of the interior panels and found this site while searching for others who have located the Carmine red interior paint that I'll need. I'm also thinking about putting AC back in her sometime soon...too hot here in FL to not have it.

Looking forward to meeting some of you and learning a lot.

Welcome aboard Kevin.
Nice to see more Malibus coming out of the woodwork. Where in central Florida are you from?
I gotta agree with you about the A/C thing. It's been many years since I had working A/C in my wagon, and as you said, it gets hot down here. It doesn't hurt to drive in comfort.

There is a great crew of guys on this forum as you'll find out. Don't be a stranger.

I'm in Orlando right near all of the attractions.

I kinda figured you were in the Orlando area. You did mention "central Florida".

Welcome Kevin; You mentioned AC & the desire to hook back up? Do you have the 3 grove crank pulley? You may want to consider the two I have for sale. They are both under drive crank & water pump but may not suit needs. If you live in more rural environment (few stop & go lights) with open roads they will keep the AC pumping fast enough to keep you cool. But if you live with many stop & go lights the AC won't pump fast enough at traffic lights (engine at idle) to keep you cool. If your curious here is path to Parts for Sale: https://gbodyforum.com/forums/parts-for-sale-trade.31/page-2 Thank for lookin' & I like the Merica picture, very nice, Ole' Bob.
