So my wj Jeep has electrical gremlins lately and left me stranded a few times!! :evil: so I began to look for a "real" pick up... found this:
a 2002 sierra slt with a 6.6 Duramax / Allison transmission extended cab, short bed, 4x4 wth 150k miles, it has new injectors, fuel pump, FASS fuel system, 5in exhaust, rebuilt trans rated to 1000 hp, efi live towing mode ecm programming, goose neck towing packing, 18k lb tow hitch, air lift air bags on rear axle, 40 gallon transfer tank on bed, autometer,gauges on pillar, newer tires, leather, LINE X bed covering, Yellow top Optima's etc etc.. thing is wicked fast!! anybody have one?

As much as I hate to say...YEAH!! :lol: Now I did briefly look at a 04+ with a Hemi but decided against them I wanted the bed and towing capabilities. If I could have found a SRT8 jeep within my price range then it would've been on like Donkey Kong! I will admit my new ride sure likes to haul!!

14k I shopped around for awhile looking for a crew cab but around here they go for more $$ with WAY MORE MILES!! Hoping I did ok 😳 previous owner did a lot of work to it including the problem issue's and maintained it very well! Truck is very solid for it's age and is very clean inside and out!

SOOOOO I deciced to take it to the track!! for a test and tune night My first time ever running down the 1/4 mile.. :lol: Truck did an awesome job for what it is, my reaction time could be better.. :| I managed to get 7 passes in could've got in more but I decided my truck took a beating already. I did have a blast though!!

did have a few videos but they sucked!! looking to getting a GoPro hopefully, oh and I'm gonna try to get the truck into the 12's.... 😛 Can't wait to get the GP running but I know it's gonna take more then what I have to get it to run fast... :?:

Nice truck. I worked on those when I was employed at a GM dealership back in 2001-2004(dealing with those Craptastic Astro Vans caused me to rethink my career strategy and I went back to school to work with computers)

As for paying $14k for it, that is not too bad. Diesel trucks around my way go for mad money.

Of course even if you paid too much for it, as long as you are happy and don't regret the purchase then that is all that matters. I think I overpaid on a 2005 Ford Focus I bought used in 2009 with 36,000 on the clock but I never once regretted the buying of it and it served me well so all was good.

Yeah i have since found a 04 silverado crew cab kinda exactly what i wanted with a bit less miles and a bit cheaper but, it is all stock with no mods... But oh well i like my truck! No complaints here except for when the payment is due... 😀
