How's it goin guys? My name is Eric, obviously new to the site.... The main reason I wanted to become a member of this forum is to learn from some of the pros that post here, I'm sure most if not all questions will be answered here and believe me I have a ton of ?'s
I might as well introduce my project while I'm at it....
87 Monte SS Aero
I had a 383 built at a local shop here in SA, Top Performance, Barney was the builder.
Its a fairly mild set up, not looking to break any land speed records.
Trany is the stock 200R4 rebuilt by High Tech Transmissions B&M shift kit built tough enough to handle 300-400 tq.
I'll be posting some pics soon so you can get a visual as to where I'm at.
Now, let it be known this is my first project car so I'm pretty wet behind the ears, I have some mechanical know how but again will need some assistance from you guys. I look forward to learning as I go and I'm willing to put the elbow grease in. This was my dads car and he was content on letting this beautiful car sit in his backyard for nearly six years. It is now up to me to bring this car back to life.
