New to group

I'm new here,,just got a 85 Monte Carlo SS,,w no motor or transmission,,the body is good,,needs paint,,I'm currently working on the tires,,just so I can move it around,,my question is will I need to put spacers on the rear to get wider tires,,because as it is there's no clearance in the rear

Welcome to the fold, Mark. Sounds like you've got the makings of a good project there. Warning: we like to spend other people's money for them.

Some pictures might help, but what wheels/ tires are you currently running? I believe some people go as high as a 275 width tire but that depends on backspacing.
