New to Me Regal

Hello guys, I just acquired an 86 regal. It has a 350 TPI engine and trans from a 88 GTA, and 3.42 gears. Its super clean and almost 100% complete. I have a few questions. Its a T-Top car, I love it, but hate the fact that it is soooo hot. they are factory tinted but i need more. I know some people said that if you tint them they can crack. What are my options i considered putting vinyl over them but was told the same thing, prone to cracks. do they make a Shade like i have in my camaro? Second, i have no constant power, when i shut the ignition off everything resets. is there a fuse for this?

I will check it out, Thanks. Now if i could just figure out my electrical issue. What i can assume is that there is no power unless the key is in and in the on position. No key nothing works, not even the headlights.

Nice looking Limited. Nice clean car.
As for your electrical problem you should check your fusible links down by the starter. Pretty sure one of them feeds constant power to the fuse panel.

thanks guys, one of my techs (Chevy Dealership) printed out a wiring diagram and is going to check it today with me. Since this is an engine swap car and i didnt do the swap im not sure what we will find. :lol:
