Hi. New to the group, don't have a G (or A) body yet but am in the process of looking for one for a father/son project and hope to have one as early as next week. I'm going to look at what appears to be a really solid '79 LeMans on Sunday. I've looked at an '87 Regal and a couple of mid '80's Montes but I'm on a relatively low initial budget and here in southern Ontario, Canada, it's tough to find one that the frame hasn't rotted out on without spending big bucks. I used to have an '81 Z28 that I ended up selling due to a separation and was on a similar forum for F bodies, I'm hoping this forum will be just as helpful. Well, that's my introduction... Cheers!

Yes, my Z28 was a father/son project that my son and I (who is now going on 14) did a lot of work on together. Got it to the stage where all it needed was paint and interior. Now I'm looking forward to getting to start from scratch on something new, along with introducing my 9 year old step son to it as well (hopefully my 10 year old daughter will also show some interest). One of the best photos I have is of my son who was around 6 at the time standing in the engine compartment getting the engine ready for removal lol!
