Just joined the other day and figured I would post up. Bought an '80 Malibu Classic and looking to make a nice cruiser out of it. Probably overpaid, but the body is super straight so I said screw it and jumped on it. It's got a factory 305, but I'll be swapping it out for a 350 with turbo 350 trans and then focusing on cleaning it up a little and maybe some suspension work.

Anyways, here's how she looks...wheels were on it when I bought it, and I don't plan on keeping them lol.

Then the next day, crap

Nice car! Welcome to the site. There are plenty of fun, knowledgable, supportive people here. Enjoy your stay. And I like the wheels. If you like them you like them, if you don't, you don't.

Just be true to what YOU want to do to the car and you will be happy. You will get plenty of opinions here, and as long as you are happy with what you are doing, do it. Have a good Thanksgiving!

classic80,
Nice looking Bu you've got, and if you like it then it was worth every penny you paid IMO. Welcome to the site and have fun(I have!).
