Hello all, my name is Matthew McDaris. I'm 26 and I'm on my second G body. My first was a almost flawless 1985 Monte CarloSS. I love it and had many great times in that ride. Well then I. Got hit by the Camaro bug and traded my SS for a 1989 Iroc. Another fine ride but my heart was always with the Monte. So after a few years of trying I found my current SS sitting in a field with square tires and rust chrome wheels. It was a 1986 SS. Maroon on maroon with all the factory stripes. After talking the guy down form $3000 to $1300 I brought her home. Well a few months past and it now sits in black primer, no stripes, and new chrome wheels and a few other mods. Its been sitting in the garage for around 2 years now since the engine blew but I'm reviving this project. I hope to get some helpful hints and tips along the way and learn a lot as well. I will be posting pics as soon as I can.
