okay we just got the new crate 350 installed and not to our knowledge the trasmission is just the turbo 200 not 350 how much does a rebuilt turbo 350 cost? a rough cost really is all i am looking for

okay swapping from a turbo 200 to the turbo 350 do i need a shorter driveshaft? if so how short?

oh and yes this is the next upgrade on the list!

if it was a metric 200 no i have a turbo 350 in my regal and i did not change my driveshaft i did have to use a different crossmember but you have a aftermarket one so you should be good

yes aslong as you dont put a overdrive transmission in or a turbo 400

 

[85 Cutlass Brougham]

A Th2004R is also the same length and the driveshaft from a TH200 car will work without modifications with that trans.That gives you overdrive too.

oh just to let the record know our old transmission is shot looks like i will be upgrading sooner than i thought
