Good morning all,
I have been lurking on this site for the last 3 months and have found the community to be very welcoming and helpful. Because of this I have decided to become an active member because I absolutely love my G Body and want to continue taking care of it. I currently own a 1981 Chevy Malibu, sedan with the 229 V-6. It was my first car and still is my only car. Bought it off a mechanic in 2007 who inherited from an old man who passed away. Bought it with 78k original miles. The mechanic even threw in an apparently rare 1981 Fisher Body Manual as well as all the original receipts and paper work with the car. I even have the original factory typed receipt that was taped to the sheet metal under the headliner. Needless to say I love my car and it is good to see there is a community devoted to loving and maintaining their respective G Bodies. Here is the love of my life:
