Hello all. Just found this forum while searching high and low for some parts for my project. I'm currently working on a 79 elcamino base model. Originally it had a 267 v8 turbo 350 grand and a 273 open rear end. I was a mechanic and scored lots of engine stuff. I've since built a 355 estimated at 420 horse 380 ftlbs. True dual exhaust and a stage 2 build on the trans. I started on the fun stuff like the body work and the interior and realized I'm in way over my head. I need a full floor pan a des fender a new header panel and a ds quarter panel. The back glass leaks a tad and I am doing a 5050 bench to bucket conversion. I plan on making it an SS kit car to a degree with some modification. I don know how to do body work but I can fab interior like crazy. Originally colonial yellow it will be a gunmetal color with the SS rally stripes. I have a goodmark 3" cowl hood for it but I want the header panel first. My main question is for the single headlamp option that's installed I want to install the dual lamps. Is it a quick wire job or do I need the entire harness? Will post pics soon having trouble uploading them.

welcome.... you could wire up something up but its easier to just change the harness out when you change out the header panel... good luck on your project post up pics when you can..
