Hello. I have been thinking of joining for some time and finally did. I am new to the posting and internet stuff, so that's probably the reason for procrastinating. I would like to introduce myself to all the G-Body fanatics like myself that are out there. I have 3 G-Bodies that are undergoing much work. I have a "82 Supreme that came with the 231 and was my daily driver until I cracked the block. It is now being outfitted with a '86 Buick GN setup complete with 4 speed transmission and posi rear. I am also converting to buckets, console and tilt along with power windows. All parts are on hand. I have a "85 Salon that I bought in 1989 as 3rd owner. It has been paitiently awaiting the install of a 383 stroker and 4 speed transmission with posi rear. No parts for her yet. My closetst project to completion is a "88 Classic that my dad bought new. I am converting it to buckets, console, 442 cat back exhaust, anti-sway bar, etc. It's almost ready for the paint booth. The seats went in SAturday and I just need to weld the bracket for the shifter and console and swap the steering column. Oh, nI also converted it to rallye gauge package. I hope I haven't rambled on for a newbie, but do have one question. The buckets for the "88 are pwer drivers and I can't for the life of me figure out where to hook the 12v supply on the factory harness to the fuse box. Does anyone have any suggestions? I hope I haven't bored you and thanks for your time.

post some pics of your cars. and welcome to GBF.

Thanks. I'll post some pics of the '88 as soon as she comes out of the booth. THe other two aren't ready bfor pics yet. I'd be embarrased.

You wanted some pics - Here's the '82 patiently waiting the install of the '86 GN setup. The keen eye will notice that the tail and reverse light lenses are not '82. When I am done it will look like an '84 Calais right down to the badging which I can't believe I found.
