Hi

I'm new to G-bodies. I've wanted a G-body Cutlass for years, and finally came across a 79 I really liked. It's a 79 Cutlass Calais 305 4 speed car. It's all original and I think I'm the third owner. I'm planning on putting it back together.

I've heard these are rare, is that true?

Thanks

Welcome. 4 speed stick shift? That would be super-rare.

Welcome aboard!
We like pics...

Hi

Yes, it is the 4 speed stick. I saw on some site it was the last year of the stick in the cutlass, I thought that was cool.

Thanks

NO....not rare, matter of fact, very common. See them everywhere. Dime a dozen. You would have a hard time finding a buyer. Tell you what, just to help you out...I'll take it off your hands, lets say a trade for a high mile, needs work, '85 Subaru wagon?...your getting the better part of the deal..Let me know..
Welcome to the site

Thanks for the welcomes! I'm a fan of pics too so here's the first photo I found on my computer. I'll upload more as I find them. Also, Wile E I thought about the wagon... I was hoping for something that gets slightly better gas mileage and maybe Korean so I may have to pass. ;-)

Man, no one would figure that for a stick shift car. Nice sleeper. But what's that ragtop hiding under the tarp?
