I'm working on my neighbors 79 regal w/350 & went to remove any coolant drain plugs on the cyl block, but coud not find them? I'm under the car with a flashlight Looking on both sides of the block..... Are there any coolant drains on the buick 350 or have I just not located them?

Aren't they usually on the rad? Never seen one on a block that I can think of.

the block also has coolant drain plugs to get all the coolant out of the engine itself.

I would think it has to have sum but not sure

I know the SBC has a 1/4" pipe plug at the bottom of each side of the block. I would think that the Buick V8 would have a simular setup.

Is it possible that somebody put a flush style pug in there and its covered in gunk :?: Or is it pretty clean :?:

I can see the drivers side of the block more clearly than the passenger side & I see no drain plug. I do know the SB chevy's have them, but besides knocking out a freeze plug, I have few other options for draining & flushing the block?
