no switch to be found

took apart my dash today so i could switch the tach from 6 cylinder as my car originally was to 8 cylinder and wasted alot of time to find out nothing was there??/
do not all ralley pack gauges have these or what???

Have you looked at this link? There is an illustrated guide near the bottom of the page that shows how to set a jumper for either 6 or 8 cylinders.

not a switch...........a jumper to connect two circuts for a 8 cylinder engine,
