New one here from Houston TX. I have a 86 Regal chassis Im trying to revive.
It has a GM 231 3.8L V6 with a TH200 transmission and a GM 10 bolt 8.5 posi rear. I
have alot of questions about my setup that I hope you guys wont mind helping, thanks.

Thats what this site is for, so how can we answer your questions if you havent asked??

Welcome. If someone did put an 8.5 rear in there you are one up on most people. Also if you already have a Buick 3.8, a turbo 3.8, Buick 350/400/430/455 is a direct drop where in you can generally reuse your existing AC, power steering, etc as well as motor mounts fuel lines battery starter wireing etc. Direct swaps save a lot of money work and time. That said the great thing about these cars is that the platform excepts about anything. Heck I put a Cadillac 500 in one. Also if you want to go fuel injection or to an electric fuel pump setup you have the benefits of a practical cost effective in-tank setup. Now build something fun and cool.
