Last week I picked up my new daily driver:

A 1986 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Brougham sedan. I like the 4-door idea for the family, and it's still a cool car. Interior in great shape, padded seats and very comfortable, car has 197,000 km on it, but drives and handles like new. SBC 305. Everything works. Alpine head unit, Pyle speakers up front, and Pioneer 6x9s in the back. Body in mint shape, absolutely zero rust anywhere. Frame solid. Only problem was the vinyl top is worn with small rips in the fabric. Not a problem as I can have it reupholstered and it's cheaper than a paint job.

A couple days ago, I had 1/4 tank of gas left, so I went to fill it up with regular. The numbers on the pump kept going up, 60, 65, 70 and so on. Wtf? I was looking under the car while filling, to see where the gas was leaking out. No gas was leaking. Finally, she stopped at 79 litres of gas @ $98!! Wow, big tank!

Lemme know what you think.

Future plans for it are: Deep dish rims and tires. Hope to fit 10" wide wheels in the back, I'm gonna try rolling the fender lips. Dual exhaust, no cats, H-pipe and straight chrome tail pipes out the back. Subwoofers in the trunk.
