not a G-Body but could be the real deal?

If it's real, it's worth about $25000+ as it sits.

Awesome car. Seems like it has a lot of the right parts. It's on the east coast too. I would have guessed they would have had it confirmed before sale though. I believe Joel Rosen is still around. I'll bet they are talking about it over at Camaros.net Those guys will know if it's real.

I'm going to show my age and ask who is BALDWIN MOTION? From what I read he was a famous guy who built street/strip cars to go really fast. Now why is he so popular?
Actually Baldwin was one of the chevy dealerships that could modify GM cars into "factory" race cars. The other 2 right off the top of my head is Nickey and Yenko. All 3 did Camaros, Novas, Chevelles and I believe they did Corvettes.

^^^They even did Corvairs too^^^

I know what a Baldwin car is but I think I'd need more documentation than "It might be real" to place a bid. If it's just another basket-case, butchered rust bucket -- it's not worth much around here. You East coast guys will certainly disagree, but that's a $3000 car where I live without any proof that it's a B-M car.

I am a east coast guy and agree with you on 3k but as you said most people around here would say with no doc its still worth 10k people are out of hand on value around me.

There was also Berger, Dana, Harrell, Gibb, etc... all did them with factory blessings and warranty. Then there were the Other guys like Pontiac dealer Myrtle motors that did the Myrtle Killer Kars, such as my brother's '68 Firebird 428 H.O. mild port job, Ram Air IV cam, heads and manifolds. They were advertised as 428/425 h.p.
