Not exactly sure what this is...

It looks exactly like the MAP sensor found under the hood. It has the 3 pin connector, except it has no vacuum lines going to it. It is located inside the car underneath the passenger side dash below the glove box. Any idea what exactly this is and what it does?
 
It is the BARO sensor. It measures atmospheric pressure, so no vac line attached ( just a small filter,which is usually deteriorated and gone by now). It looks exactly like the MAP sensor, but is different inside. It's function is to adjust fuel/air control based on altitude.
 
Thanks for the quick reply. Ok I see now. I was beginning to wonder why there were two MAP sensors and where the vacuum line went :mrgreen:
