Enjoy!
This one is circa 70-72 building Fisher bodies (Monte/Chevelle) but there's spots in the video talking about advanced engineering and they're showing AIR BAG technology. Stuff not really heard of much back then (I think the first GM cars to have them were 73 Caprice Government Fleet cars, and 73 Toro as available equipment maybe?)
Then, once you build them, you got to ship them to the dealers!
Then of course, a video of a look-ahead GM progress through the 80s, made for dealerships. With GM president Pete Estes (who had the ONLY COPO 68 Z/28 convertible ever) and other muckity mucks. Most of it's boring and BS (same crap they're crying about today), but it has some cool snippets of a few '80 A-bodies. They talk about expanding the use of diesels to maximize CAFE. hahaha
3 part Pontiac assembly, circa 1970. Pretty cool.
A bit weird with the background music, but still cool stuff nonetheless- MUSCLE CAR ERA cars (mostly) on the assembly line.
Annnnnnnnd........Oldsmobile race cars. 🙂
