I have been helping my friend build this olds 403 at my house that will be going in to his 1986 442

can run in had some odd valve train noise but i fixed that the next day.

this is after we did the cam run-in and readjusting the valve train. we did it with just the outer springs then put the inners in after 30mins of run time. changed the oil and filter.

enjoy i know every one loves the sound of a fresh engine! i did this with my good cam so "TURN THIS ONE UP!"

Quaz's car is blue but not painted in original 442 colours. That is a really nice build. Curious of what it runs and how it does with the tight clearances.

That's who I am thinking of. He lives about 5 min from me. Awesome car, love it. One of the few Olds I see around here.

yes

That engine looks and sounds really good, what is that you're using at the front of your engine run-in rig to support it?
