It still used a 7.5 housing right? Is it stronger than a 7.5 on a v6 regal?

442 has a 8.5 rear and yes its stronger than a v6 7.5

A normal 7.5" rear will have almost of a fang type shape on the bottom of the differential housing where you would jack it up at, where as the 8.5" will have triangles.

well double check it, and if it's a 8.5" don't tell him ... try and lowball him a bit, but don't screw up the sale. He's the idiot not researching what he's selling.
