I ordered a valve spring, retainer kit to match my cam. Its probably been about 6 months and its been on backorder. Says its going to ship in june now. Does anyone know what other springs would come close to the ones I am ordering? The part number is crn-36308-1. Also do you think running my stock springs would be okay temporarilly?

Thank you for the help

Running stock springs against an aftermarket cam is usually a bad idea. I have gotten away with using aftermarket, high lift, small block ford springs, so maybe try that. Be sure to measure everything to make sure they fit without a bind.

Good luck!

I am actually waiting on aftermarket Ford valve springs, im guessing that is a popular option since they have been on backorder for awhile.
